Biological treatment with diatomaceous earth powders
We are talking about diatomaceous earth, an inert material of fossil origin obtained from sedimentary siliceous rocks. It is a substance mainly composed of calcium carbonate and silicon dioxide. It is therefore a natural pesticide that helps keep away crawling insects, mites and other parasites, causing the dehydration of the weeds that come into contact with the treated surfaces.
In fact, diatomaceous earth allows the creation of physical barriers along the path of the arthropods or near their nesting grounds. The antiparasitic efficacy of this particular flour is maximum in low humidity environments.
Diatom powder is used in the fight, especially domestic, against thepollen mite, cockroaches, bed bugs, ants, fleas and ticks.
